Safety Tips

Last updated: August 2026

Your safety comes first. Whether you are hiring an expert or offering services, these simple habits will help you avoid scams and have a secure experience on Masters Pakistan.

1. Verify the expert

Look for the verification badge on expert profiles. Check reviews, ratings, and portfolio before hiring. A genuine expert has a complete profile and history of work.

2. Keep payments on-platform

Always use Masters Escrow for transactions. Your money is held safely and only released when the work is delivered. Never pay an expert directly through personal bank transfer or mobile wallet outside the platform — you will lose protection.

3. Don't share sensitive data

Never share your CNIC, OTP, bank card details, or passwords with anyone on the platform. A legitimate expert will never ask for these.

4. Meet in safe places

If an in-person meeting is needed, choose a public, well-lit location during daytime. Inform a family member of your whereabouts. Avoid meeting at isolated spots.

5. Watch for red flags

Be cautious if someone pressures you to pay urgently, offers a deal "too good to be true", refuses to use Escrow, or asks to move the conversation off-platform. These are common scam signs.

6. Use Masters Chat

Keep all communication inside Masters Chat. Messages are recorded and help us resolve disputes. Moving conversations to WhatsApp or personal email removes your protection.

7. Report suspicious behaviour

If something feels off, use the Report button on the profile or listing, or email contact@masters.com.pk. Reporting is confidential and helps protect the whole community.

Remember: Masters Pakistan is a marketplace, not an employer. We verify and connect, but you remain responsible for your own safety decisions. When in doubt, use Escrow and keep communication on-platform.
